About Catherine
My passion and love for Latin and Classics began all the way back when I was in year 7. It shines through in my teaching, bringing energy, motivation, and support to the lessons.
I am especially passionate about tutoring and one-to-one learning as I like focusing on how to aid students who are struggling in the classroom or have learning difficulties.

As a young teacher I find it easier to relate to students and make lessons more enjoyable with creative ways to learn tricky grammar and make vocab stick, engaging with the language beyond the textbook to truly learn and appreciate it!
I teach Latin using progressive and modern language techniques to make the learning come more naturally and feel more effortless than the textbook learning you're used to at school.
This is especially helpful for students struggling in the classroom, getting higher grades, or with learning difficulties.
One-to-one lessons allow us to create personalised tricks to help you tackle what you're struggling with and achieve better understanding and grades.
