About Seven
My name is Seven Freitag, yes like the number. My mother loved Star Trek and it's a character from there. I have an AA in General Studies and currently working on my BA in History. I took Latin throughout high school and never stop translating, I was given The Hobbit entire translated into Latin, and been keeping up my skills there. Latin is interwoven into History, especially European History before the Reformation. The majority of documents both of the Catholic Church and government officials are in Latin. History and Languages are my love and it definitely began with my interest in Latin.

Hello, I want to tell you even with one year of Latin under your belt it can take you anywhere. It's easier to learn new languages, as it forms new connections in your brain. Languages such as Spanish, Romanian, French, Portuguese, and even some English has roots in Latin. It can increase your vocabulary in English as well as making the Romance languages easier to use. Fun fact, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian are called the Romance languages not because they are romantic but because they all stem from Latin the Language of Rome. Latin is also useful for degrees such as Law and Pre-Med. As a history major, I find it useful for reading documents from the Middle Ages in Europe. All in all, its just fun.
