About Jordan
My name is Jordan, and I am a law student with a strong academic background in writing, reading comprehension, and analytical reasoning. I bring a professional, patient, and organized approach to tutoring, focused on helping students build lasting skills rather than relying on shortcuts. I take pride in clear communication, careful attention to detail, and adapting lessons to meet each student’s needs. Students can expect a respectful, supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and progress is measured. I am committed to high standards, reliability, and thoughtful instruction that helps students gain confidence in their academic abilities.

I focus on helping students truly understand writing rather than simply correcting mistakes. My tutoring approach is structured, patient, and tailored to each student’s learning style. Lessons typically begin with identifying strengths and problem areas, followed by targeted instruction in grammar, spelling, organization, and clarity. I use examples, guided practice, and feedback to reinforce skills and build confidence.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my emphasis on teaching students why rules work, allowing them to apply skills independently across subjects. I work with middle school, high school, and college students, and also provide assistance with SAT/ACT preparation and college application essays.
