  • 1) When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

    1) I started playing chess at the tender age of 8 on an old laptop my mum got from a friend. The name of the chess app was "Chess Titan". Ideally my Chess journey started when I played against my teacher in school and he kept beating me, then I wanted to improve, and I haven't stopped improving ever since.
  • 2) Which artists or works affect you the most?

    2) It's Magnus Carlsen for me, he's complete understanding of chess to follow all the principles, and yet still able to break those principles and win games. It's absolutely beautiful, that's why he's the Greatest Of All Time.
  • 3) What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?

    3) In chess you must always be willing to learn every single time because there's always a better player than you. If you accept this fact you'll go far, and who knows one day you might be the best player in the world.
  • 4) What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

    4) To stay focus while trying to study chess -- create a dedicated time for it, so you be void of distractions and focus on chess
  • 5) How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

    5) My passion for chess comes from its depth and honesty. The game rewards clear thinking, patience, and discipline, and that constantly challenges me to grow. Teaching it gives me a strong sense of fulfilment because I’m not just sharing moves—I’m helping students develop confidence, focus, and problem-solving skills that go beyond the board.
  • 6) What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

    6) I’m especially proud of the training structures and lesson plans I’ve developed for beginners and young players. Turning complex ideas into simple, engaging concepts that students can actually apply in their games is something I’ve worked hard on. Seeing those ideas translate into better decisions and improved results is very rewarding.
  • 7) Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

    7) Yes, several times. I’ve had students who progressed much faster than expected once they understood the right fundamentals. It’s always exciting to see a breakthrough moment—when a student suddenly starts thinking independently and applying concepts confidently during games.
  • 8) Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

    8) My secret is adaptability and genuine care. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to match their pace and personality. I focus on building understanding rather than memorisation, and I make sure lessons remain practical, encouraging, and enjoyable. When students feel supported, their progress accelerates naturally.
