About Sowmya
I am a passionate and experienced Carnatic classical music teacher currently teaching at JSS, a reputed educational institution. I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music from the University of Mysore and was awarded four Gold Medals during my Bachelor's program for academic excellence. I am also a B Grade Artist with All India Radio (Akashvani). My goal is to inspire students through authentic, structured, and enjoyable music education while nurturing their musical talent and confidence.

My Carnatic classical music classes are designed for students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons focus on building a strong foundation in shruti, swara, tala, ragas, and kritis through personalized guidance. I create a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for Indian classical music.
