I can honestly say it’s been an amazing experience to study with Japhy. Japhy is not only incredibly skilled as a drummer but also a patient, encouraging, and inspiring teacher. I always leave feeling like I’ve learned something valuable from his class, cause Japhy knows exactly how to guide me and keep me progressing. Highly recommend!

Arby loves his lessons with Japhy, takes his time to explain everything and very patient with Arby who can be challenging..he has progressed very quickly in a very short space of time

Japhy comes into my home with kindness and respect for my family
He works hard to build relationships with his students and is helping my son to be his own version of brilliant!!

It’s such a pleasure to watch my son improve so quickly with his drumming! I could not have imagined that being 6 he would have progressed so quickly in the amount of lessons he’s had.
Thank you Japhy. It a big thumbs up from us

I've had a lot of lessons with Japhy now and he's always got a lot of exercises to work on to develop techniques and improve weak areas. Lessons are always geared towards what you as a student want to learn and has a knack to simplify the exercise and then build complexity in one step at a time

Japhy is a great drum tutor. He pays close attention to my progress and adapts the lessons to where I'm at. He notices the areas I need to concentrate on and provides clear, easy to follow suggestions. Japhy is an excellent drummer and it's inspiring to learn from him.

Japhy is a great drum tutor. He's been very patient and always comes up with lesson ideas that are relevant to my progress. I have learnt a lot from the lessons we did.

Japhy is very enthusiastic tutor and has been great in stretching my abilities. He has helped me with my technique and is willing to find and annotate songs that I enjoy playing.

Fantastic drummer and tutor. Takes time to explain music theory in the context of drumming in a practical manner. Capable of diverse styles, from traditional music to more modern forms. Great to learn from, great to practice with, can't recommend enough!

Japhy was a kind and patient teacher and support my son through his early learning of drum playing. He made sure he was sitting well and holding the sticks correctly and gave him the confidence to learn. He really gave him a good foundation

Japhy is a real professional and an excellent teacher.
He has an art of coaching to help a complete newbee (like me) to appreciate music and learn the first principles of playing the drums. 10 out of 10!!

Japhy's been a great tutor for me as a complete beginner. He's very flexible and patient, but pushes you outside your comfort zone enough to see real progress. He manages to blend theory with real song beats in the sessions which makes them enjoyable. Strongly recommend!

Hi. Japhy is a cool Teacher. I highly recommend him as he's friendly, enjoyable to learn from. He's patient and that really helps you to remain motivated . I was learning the drums with him and it was fun and made fairly simple

have booked again with Japhy, top teacher - very patient ( especially identifying my weak left-hand work...) very fast to identify issues and fast improvements that I can make but never too fast and always clear and encouraging - great teacher

I'd like to recommend Japhy as a drum teacher. He's passionate about drumming and flexible to the students needs.

Japhy is a very skilled, experienced and fun drumming teacher. I had no previous knowledge when I contacted him for my initial drumming session, but got immediately hooked on the whole drumming experience. Japhy also has formal qualifications, but most importantly a great vibe and passion for music. I have been taking drumming lessons for the past two years and Japhy has always been happy to accommodate my schedule. I can highly recommend Japhy to anyone who is interested in improving their drumming skills or starting to learn drumming from scratch.

I've been having drum lessons for a while now with Japhy, and the lessons are always fun, helpful and interesting. He really pays attention to my needs for improvement and tailors the lessons accordingly. Would definitely recommend to all!

I would definitely recommend Japhy as a great drum tutor! He's extremely patient with me and knows how to explain more difficult tricks by his individual approach to my style and personality. I really enjoy my lessons with him and he really makes me believe that it will happen one day and I will be able to play drums independently. I needed a tutor like Japhy, who challenges me each time I see him but also who is patient enough to explain everything as many times as needs be. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn playing drums in a fun environment :)

Our five year old son has been having drum lessons with Japhy for many months now and I'm always impressed by his patience and commitment to teaching. Our son continues to look forward to each lesson and has shown definite improvement. Japhy has also been flexible with times if we need to change our slot or are running late and is comfortable teaching one on one if I need to pop out for a portion of the lesson. Totally trust him and would recommend as a great drum teacher.

I'd recommend learning drums with Japhy as he's very enthusiastic in his style of teaching combined with the talent to do so. He's a skilled drummer who wants his students to progress at a comfortable pace but ensures lessons are equally challenging enough so they learn new skills week to week.

Japhy is a very good tutor. My son who is 6 has made so much progress is such a short span of time and always looks forward to the weekend drumming session with Japhy. Would certainly recommend Japhy to anyone looking to learn the drums.

Japhy's a great tutor, really supportive and encouraging and his lessons are always great fun.

Japhys a great tutor, every lesson is a blast! Things are generally pretty informal (as they should be for rock n roll) so theres plenty of room to work on what you want. Highly recommend!

Excellent drumming teacher with lots of experience and does a great job helping me to achieve my drumming goals whilst teaching me technical skills and making the lessons fun! I 100% recommend!!
