About Prerna

Hello! I’m Prerna, and I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping others learn, grow, and feel more confident in their abilities.

I bring a professional and dependable approach to tutoring, with a strong focus on preparation, patience, and creating a positive learning experience. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to listen, understand what works for you, and adapt my approach accordingly.

My professional career has given me extensive experience communicating with people, preparing written materials, presenting information, facilitating discussions, and working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly, remain patient, and create an organized learning environment.

As your tutor, you can expect me to be prepared, approachable, encouraging, and committed to your progress. I want you to feel comfortable throughout the learning process—not pressured to be perfect.

Whether you're a parent looking for a reliable tutor for your child or a student looking for someone who will take your goals seriously, I strive to make every lesson a worthwhile investment in your development.

I look forward to meeting you, understanding your goals, and helping you take the next step with confidence!

Learning English should be practical, engaging, and confidence-building. My lessons are personalized to each student’s level, learning style, and goals.

As a bilingual Canadian who studied in both English and French and completed my high school education in French in Montreal, I understand the challenges that can come with learning and communicating in another language. I use this experience to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and making mistakes while they learn.

My lessons can focus on:
- Speaking & Conversation: Build confidence and improve everyday communication
- Reading & Comprehension: Develop vocabulary and understanding
- Writing & Grammar: Strengthen sentence structure, grammar, and written communication
- Vocabulary & Pronunciation: Learn useful words and improve pronunciation
- School Support: Homework assistance and additional practice
- Personalized Learning: Lessons adapted to the student's needs and goals

I offer one-on-one lessons and online Zoom classes, making it easy to learn from the comfort of home.

Whether you're just beginning, looking to improve your English for school, or simply want to become more confident speaking English, I’m here to help you make steady progress in a friendly and encouraging environment.
