About AMRITHA

Hi, I’m Amritha — a passionate Bharatanatyam dance tutor who blends grace, energy, and storytelling into every step. With years of experience performing and teaching, I specialize in making Bharatanatyam dance accessible, expressive, and full of joy for learners of all levels. Whether you’re dancing for fun, fitness, or a special event, I create a warm, judgment-free space where you can build confidence, rhythm, and style. My sessions are personalized, upbeat, and rooted in the vibrant spirit of Bharatnatyam. Come dance with me — and let’s bring the screen-worthy sparkle into your life!

About the lesson

My Teaching Method and Techniques
My approach blends foundational technique, creativity, and enjoyment. I begin by assessing the student’s current level and goals—whether it's for performance, fitness, exams, or pure passion. I emphasize body awareness, rhythm, posture, and expression through progressive steps. For children, I use games and storytelling; for adults, I adapt pacing and choreography based on their comfort and confidence.

Typical Lesson Plan
A 45–60 minute session is structured as follows:

Warm-up (5–10 mins): Light cardio, stretches, and rhythm exercises.

Technique practice (10–15 mins): Footwork, body alignment, movement drills.

Choreography or routine learning (20–30 mins): Step-by-step guidance on a short sequence.

Cool down and feedback (5 mins): Relaxation and personalized tips.

Every class is interactive and designed to keep students motivated and progressing steadily.

What Sets Me Apart
I create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where students feel safe to explore movement. My teaching blends discipline with fun, and I adapt my lessons to every student’s learning style. I provide detailed feedback, practice videos (if needed), and encouragement every step of the way.

Who the Lessons Are For
My classes are for:

Beginners to intermediate dancers

Kids (5+), teens, and adults

Anyone preparing for events (social programs or competitions)

No prior experience required—just your energy and willingness to dance!
