Learn guitar with a Conservatory trained guitar player singer songwriter recording performing artist with a vast teaching experience and with many happy and satisfied students!

Spiros is the real deal. A true NYC blues and rock guy who knows his stuff inside and out. I’ve been taking in-home lessons with him for a few months now, working on electric at an intermediate level, and he just gets it. He keeps things relaxed, meets you where you are, and knows how to break down the tricky parts without making it feel like a lecture. Easy to schedule with, easy to learn from, and an all-around cool guy to spend an hour playing guitar with. Highly recommend.

I have been taking Greek lessons from Spiros for nearly five years. My Greek has improved a lot, and Spiros has become a great friend. We have sung greek songs together, written greek poems, and read books in Greek. He's a teacher who makes me look forward to lessons every week. You're gonna love him.

Very proficient, knowledgeable and friendly!

Spiros is an excellent guitar teacher with a solid grasp of music theory. He can relate it to the music you’re playing to help you write better music and improvise.

Spiros is my greek teacher, and we have done a lot of music together as well. Over the last three years we have worked on songs on both guitar and ukulele. He is a very patient teacher, and his kindness, humor and genuine compassion for people have made him not only a teacher but a good friend. I would recommend his teaching to anyone. You will enjoy his lessons, and his deep love for music and for life.

Spiros is a great teacher, smart and kind! With a lifetime of experience! I highly recommend him!

Extremely intelligent and able to make lessons interesting and fun. I've studied Greek with Spiros for many years and am completely satisfied. I am able to travel to Greece now, to understand the language, and to make myself understood.

Spiros is a great teacher! He teaches me bouzouki (essentially a greek guitar) and also Greek lessons. He is very knowledgable and an effective teacher. I enjoy working with him very much! I highly recommend Spiros to anyone looking to start learning or develop their skills in guitar, bouzouki, or the Greek language.

Your enthusiasm for teaching is contagious, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from you. Your creativity, patience, kindness, and understanding have helped me enormously in ways that I never thought possible. Thank you for everything.

Spiros is an outstanding guitar instructor. He knows how to teach the technical aspects of guitar while having fun playing familiar tunes. I call Spiros the Greek Eric Clapton - Imaging the privilege of working with someone as talented as Spiros.

Incredible blues and rock talent.

Spiros has been my teacher for over a year now and I can say I’m truly blessed to have found him.
He is very patient and helpful and has amazing techniques to share with you.
Spiros is a great teacher and an amazing musician.

Spiros is an excellent teacher and a very talented musician with a wealth of musical knowledge. I was a casual, self-taught guitar player, just interested in developing more of an understanding of basic theory, and improving my technique - while learning how to play some songs I couldn't figure out on my own. In the two-plus years I've been receiving lessons from Spiros, my playing and understanding of the instrument has improved remarkably. It's also been a blast getting some insight into Spiros' musical influences - listening and learning to play a lot of songs that I wouldn't have otherwise. Overall, I highly recommend Spiros for a player at any level.

Spiros is by far the best music teacher I have ever had. I am in my 40s and learning bass as a second instrument. Spiros teaches more than just the instrument, he teaches you how to play music. He emails me songs and riffs and encouragement during the week between lessons to help me practice, and always has some surprises for the lesson. I work in midtown so I love the convenience of his lessons at his studio, which is just blocks from my office. I recommend his lessons highly!
