About Carey
I have been hula hooping for the past 6 years! It quickly became a great passion of mine when I started and now has taken me to some pretty amazing places and given me wonderful opportunities. I have performed at the Sydney Mardi Gras, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Esoteric Festival and Babylon Festival as well as local nightclubs such as Code, Tr!p and Dark Circus to name a few. Hooping has even taken me internationally recently, to It’s The Ship Singapore in 2019.
I absolutely love hooping and flow arts and am excited to share my passion and knowledge with you. You’ll be amazed what you can do with a plastic circle!

For hooping, it really is practice makes perfect. But thankfully it’s a lot of fun and after our lesson you’ll have lots to take home with you and practice in your own time! Our lessons would include a warm up and stretch, tricks and their variations, drills for muscle memory and strength, and choreography with tricks and transitions for you to learn how to incorporate them into your flow.
Am happy to work with you on your hoop goals and/or fitness goals just let me know what you’re hoping to achieve! I also have lots of hoops so if you don’t have one just yet I can supply you!
