My approach I focus on creating a supportive, enjoyable environment where beginners can feel confident exploring Icelandic without pressure. I use a mix of conversational practice, pronunciation drills, vocabulary building, and simple grammar explanations. I often bring in elements of Icelandic culture to make lessons both practical and fun. Lesson structure Most lessons are around 60 minutes, but that can be tailored to your needs. A typical class includes a short warm-up introduction of new vocabulary or grammar, guided practice through dialogue or exercises, and a recap at the end to reinforce learning. Qualifications and experience I am a native Icelandic speaker and I also have experience tutoring in other subjects, which has helped me develop clear, patient, and adaptable teaching methods.
