I have varied experience in teaching Italian as a second language to students of all ages and backgrounds in private, group and conversation classes, from beginner to advanced levels, both face to face and on Zoom.
What is more, having studied foreign languages myself (English, French, German, Portuguese)I know exactly what the challenges when learning a new language are, but also how to tackle them to achieve success.
My lessons are engaging, fun and well-structured but most importantly they are tailored and personalised according to the student needs and learning preferences. So before starting I want to know something about you, what you like/dislike, what your challenges and strengths are when learning and what you would like to achieve.
I use a variety of materials to improve your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills including authentic texts and videos, audio tracks, grammar activities, conversation role plays but also games and quizzes to keep you on your feet. Also, I provide you with all the material needed during the lesson.

Isabella is an incredible teacher! She is very thorough with her Italian courses and detailed in her review, she is articulate and patient with all the student, and is always so helpful. I've really enjoyed taking her course. She has helped me improve dramatically since starting with her. 10 out of 10!
Isabellas manner of teaching is so wonderful and refreshing!! She’s patient and supportive but really knows how to motivate her. She’s great at building confidence and keeping lessons fun and engaging through a variety of activities that improve conversation, writing, and reading skills. I would highly recommend her as a tutor.
I highly recommend Isabella, as she is personal and adapted the lessons to suit me. I look forward to continuing with her to the next level.
