About Jacinta
みなさん、こんにちは! I first visited Japan in Year 10, and it sparked a lifelong love for the language and culture. Now, I’m a qualified Japanese teacher working in primary schools, with a focus on everyday language that’s great for travel and conversation. My approach is friendly, flexible, and tailored to your goals — whether you’re learning for fun, a trip, or just love Japan as much as I do!

Learning a new language can feel scary! Where do you even start? Don’t worry, I’ve got you! I’ll break things down in a way that’s simple, supportive, and tailored to your pace. Whether you’re brand new to Japanese or brushing up, we’ll take it step by step and have fun along the way. In each lesson, we’ll focus on practical language you can actually use! Whether that’s for travel, conversation, or daily life. I provide personalised notes, helpful tips, and optional practice activities to support your learning in between sessions.

Her lessons are always interesting and tailored to waht I need, whether it’s grammar, speaking or just building more confidence.
