About Aoi

Hello! I’m a professional illustrator and Live2D instructor based in Japan.

I have experience teaching illustration and Live2D Cubism, as well as working on VTuber model production, including both character illustration and Live2D rigging.

As an illustrator, I have received awards in illustration contests for "GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE" and have been officially accepted into the NIKKE Creator Program.

Through my teaching experience, I’ve learned that every student has different goals and challenges. Some are completely new to Live2D, while others have already started creating a model but aren’t sure how to move forward.

My goal is to help you understand the techniques behind Live2D, rather than simply memorizing steps. I aim to explain things clearly, answer your questions, and help you build the confidence to work on your own projects.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or returning to a project you found difficult, I’d be happy to support your learning journey!

Learn Live2D Cubism at Your Own Pace!

Are you new to Live2D Cubism? Or have you tried learning it on your own but got stuck along the way?

My lessons are designed for beginners and those who want to give Live2D another try!

I’m a professional illustrator with experience teaching Live2D and working on VTuber model production. I’ll help you understand not only how to use the software, but also why certain techniques work.

What You Can Learn

- Getting started with Live2D Cubism and understanding its interface
- Preparing and separating illustration layers for rigging
- Understanding parameters, deformers, and keyforms
- Creating natural facial expressions and movements
- Basic physics settings for hair and clothing
- Troubleshooting problems in your own Live2D projects

How My Lessons Work

Each lesson is tailored to your experience, goals, and current challenges.

If you’re a complete beginner, we can start with the basics and work through the process step by step.

If you’ve already tried Live2D but feel stuck, we can look at your project together, identify the problem, and find a way forward.

Lessons are conducted online with screen sharing, so you can follow demonstrations and ask questions as we go.

You don’t need to learn everything at once. Let’s build your skills one step at a time!

If you’d like to start by drawing your own character, I recommend beginning with my illustration lessons, where you can learn character design and digital illustration techniques.

Once your illustration is ready, you can move on to my Live2D lessons to learn how to bring your character to life!

If you already have an illustration or want to focus on rigging, you’re welcome to start directly with my Live2D lessons.

You can choose either course or combine both, depending on your goals and experience.
