Ever wondered how Netflix knows what you want to watch, how ChatGPT understands your questions, or how Instagram seems to know exactly what interests you?
That's the kind of learning experience I aim to create in my classes.
Hi! I'm Maria, an MSc student in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning who believes that learning should feel more like solving interesting puzzles than memorizing textbook definitions. If you've ever thought that programming, AI, or Machine Learning looked complicated, my goal is to show you that it doesn't have to be.
In my classes, we don't just learn concepts—we connect them to things you see and use every day. Machine Learning becomes the recommendation system behind your favorite apps. NLP becomes the technology behind chatbots and voice assistants. Python becomes a tool for building things that solve real problems.
Expect plenty of real-world examples, interactive discussions, mini challenges, project-based learning, and lots of "Aha! Now I get it!" moments. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, memorable explanations that actually make sense.

My approach to teaching is centered on making complex concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand. I believe that students learn best when they can connect theoretical ideas to real-world situations, so I focus on explaining concepts through relatable examples and practical applications rather than just memorization.
In my classes, I first assess the student's current understanding and learning goals. I then break down topics into smaller, manageable concepts and explain them using simple language, visualizations, and real-life examples. Once the fundamentals are clear, we work through exercises, case studies, projects, or interview-style questions to reinforce learning.
My teaching style is interactive and student-focused. I encourage questions, discussions, and curiosity throughout the learning process. Whether it's Python, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, NLP, Deep Learning, Data Science, or academic coursework, I aim to build strong conceptual foundations before moving to advanced topics.
What makes me different as a teacher is my focus on helping students truly understand why something works, not just how to use it. I connect lessons to industry applications, current technologies, and practical use cases so students can see the value of what they are learning.
