Sean is one of our best Maths tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Sean

Hi! I'm a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, and I have extensive experience tutoring SAT prep, math, science, and computer science to elementary through high school students. I also headed my high school's math tutoring lab and computer science help group. I've worked extensively on understanding the relationship between core concepts in STEM fields and found several exciting ways to explain these concepts to others.

About the lesson

Since I attend a Pennsylvania school, I am only available for online lessons. I use various techniques (study guides, animations, demonstrations, etc.) to make my lessons as fun and memorable as possible. Each and every one of my classes will be an adventure, as I believe students learn more when they like what they are learning about.

As an experienced tutor in a wide range of topics, I hope to continue my work by showing students how fun math can be!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Sean.

I would strongly recommend Sean as a tutor. He helped me through my middle school math classes, and I cannot tell you how excited he always sounds when giving lessons. I hope you can all experience this form of teaching since very few tutors are truly excited about what they do!

I know Sean as a fellow tutor from school. He goes above and beyond for every single student he teaches, and I can see that he truly believes in the work he does. No question was ever too difficult to answer, and even when the students couldn't understand a topic, Sean would find a different way to explain it!

Sean is such a fantastic teacher! He taught me a lot since I started taking lessons from him. He was helpful whenever I had extra questions or I needed help in school. He is very chill, but he makes sure I always understand what he is teaching. Sean is your guy if you're looking for a relatable teacher who can teach!

I've had the pleasure of working with Sean over the past couple of years, both as classmates and friends. He's extremely hardworking, bright, and humorous, and there's never been a dull moment when studying with him. I've also worked with Sean in organizing our school's math tutoring lab, and he's both a great leader and tutor, being extremely attentive to his students and having the ability to clearly explain difficult concepts. I'm happy to recommend Sean as a tutor!
