About Antonio

I have been working as a Spanish teacher for 4 years, having previously worked as an MFL teaching assistant. I have also worked as a private tutor for 3 years, earning the trust and gratitude of the families whose children I helped in their learning. I always make sure that my lessons are tailor-made to suit the needs of my pupils, regardless of their level. I also like to include songs, movie clips and some other cultural elements in my lessons to make them more engaging and fun; remember: languages are not just grammar or vocabulary, they are also culture, traditions and festivals! Teaching Spanish (or any other language for that matter) through music and movies is a more natural way of learning a language, in fact, that is one of the ways that we all have learnt our first language! Please contact me for more information. Other Qualifications : I have a degree in employment law and human resources by Cadiz's University (Spain) I have a Master Degree in International Economics and Development by Kingston University.

I can't speak highly enough of Antonio. He was an excellent tutor for my eldest son during his A-level study. He was always extremely well organised and prepared and dealt with my son empathetically. He was so good, in fact, that he also taught my youngest son, when it came his time to study A-level, even though he was in less need of tuition.

I would highly recommend Antonio as a Tutor. Over the last few months he has been tutoring my son and a friend (both in year 11) for their GCSE Spanish exams. At our request he mainly concentrated on the verbal skills. Antonio is reliable and never missed a lesson. He is very well organised and always turned up with a lesson plan. Having said that, he would always asked the boys if they wanted to concentrate on a particular area and was very accommodating to their individual needs. He had a great rapport with them and I would hear laughing from their lessons. He made the sessions fun, incorporated music and kept them engaged.
