About Ishrak

I’m a friendly, approachable and patient person who wants to make learning Spanish an enjoyable experience. I know that learning a language can sometimes feel difficult or intimidating, so I always aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

I achieved an A* in A-level Spanish and a grade 9 at GCSE, so I understand what it takes to do well in exams and how important it is to build confidence along the way. I’m organised, enthusiastic and always willing to explain things in different ways until they make sense.

I enjoy helping others learn and seeing them improve over time. Whether you’re looking to boost your grades, improve your speaking skills or learn Spanish from scratch, I’ll do my best to support you and make sure our lessons are both useful and enjoyable. I want my students to feel comfortable talking to me, stay motivated and feel proud of the progress they make!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals and learning style, with a clear structure to help them improve and build confidence over time.

I like to start by understanding what the student already knows and identifying the areas they would most like to improve. From there, I plan each lesson around specific goals, whether that means improving grammar and vocabulary, developing speaking and listening skills, or preparing for GCSE and A-level exams.

Each lesson includes a mixture of explanation, guided practice and activities to help put what we’ve learnt into practice. I also like to review previous topics regularly so that students can strengthen their understanding and see how much progress they’re making.

For exam students, I can focus on exam techniques, past-paper questions and the skills needed to achieve higher grades. For those learning Spanish for everyday conversation, I aim to make lessons engaging and practical, helping them feel more comfortable speaking Spa
