Let's have fun learning Japanese together! I'm a native speaker from Hiroshima who can teach you anything you want to know about Japanese language and culture!

Perfect! For context, I am a beginner with some minimal past experience learning Japanese. Contacting and arranging lessons was fast and easy. Natsumi-sensei was very accommodating and flexible, which is useful when you are working full-time with difficult shift patterns. Lessons are structured to be fun and engaging, with the first part being a free-flowing conversation using whatever Japanese you know, with Natsumi-sensei filling in the gaps, and the second part consisting of new vocabulary/topic practice, reading and speaking skills. If you work long hours but still want to learn and enjoy Japanese, I would recommend Natsumi-sensei. :)

Perfect! Natsumi has been a great teacher. I was looking to learn specifically more about business/formal Japanese and she is very knowledgable in the area with her previous experiences.

She has tailored the lessons based on what I want to learn very well and I definitely get the sense that I am progressing.

I would have no hesitation to recommend her to others, regardless of the level of Japanese being learnt!

Perfect! I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional Japanese language interview coaching provided by Natsumi. With less than ten days' notice, and amidst my son's intense A-level revision schedule, Natsumi delivered a 20-hour crash course that transformed his current spoken Japanese skills to be
interview-ready for a corporate-style summer internship interview.

Beyond Natsumi’s proven academic expertise and Japanese tuition skills, she brought invaluable real-world Japanese corporate experience to the table—exactly what we needed to ensure language proficiency relevant to the interview context along with cultural insights.

On day one of the course, she assessed his spoken ability, distilled his academic achievements and experiences into a succinct self-introduction, and set an ambitious ten-day goal to achieve a confident performance in polite (keigo) Japanese during interviews.

The structured approach included:
- Daily 2-hour sessions (totaling 20 hours)
- Practice routines for each phase of the interview (self-introduction, strengths discussion, situational questions)
- Mock drills and timed Q&A sessions to build spontaneity under pressure
- Company analysis sessions enabling him to articulate how he could contribute during the internship
- Vocabulary sets and tailored interview techniques for precise verbal refinement

Within days he secured not only the summer internship but also several informal business meetings—a success we attribute to this intensive preparation.

I wholeheartedly recommend Natsumi.

Perfect! Natsumi is a great teacher and I am really enjoying her in person tutoring. She makes the lessons fun and engaging!

Perfect! Natsumi is a very friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor. Our son (15) thought that she was very encouraging and positive which made the lesson fun for him. He learned a lot during the first introduction lesson.

Perfect! Natsumi is really friendly and kind and her lessons are fun because she is fun to talk to! She grew up in Japan and can tell you anything you want to know about Japanese language and culture!

She's a native Japanese speaker and is also fluent in English so she can explain language concepts easily and clearly.
