About Katie

I first began tutoring in January of 2009.

In the past eight years, I've worked with over a dozen students in an array of subjects, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.

I've also worked extensively in elementary-age math.

I've improved students' grades by anywhere from 1-3 letter grades, and I've assisted one student in achieving a previously unexpected Academic Honors diploma upon her high school graduation.

About the lesson

As a current student working toward a Bachelor's degree in education, I've been working as a student and a substitute teacher for the past several years.

I use a vast array of techniques with my students, because ultimately I don't believe that cookie-cutter instruction is effective.

I do believe though, that with the right tools and the right instruction, any student can be successful and achieve their goals.

Let me help you with all of your mathematical problems, on your time!
