वर्नमाला (Varnamala - Hindi alphabet) Begin by introducing and practicing the pronunciation of all vowels (स्वर) and consonants (व्यंजन). Activity: Call-and-repeat, flashcard recognition, audio pronunciation practice. 2. शब्द लेखन (Word Writing) Practice writing simple words with correct matras. Activity: Dictation, tracing worksheets, spelling games. 3. सन्धि-विच्छेद (Sandhiviched – Word breaking) Teach students to divide compound words into their original parts. Activity: Provide compound words and ask students to split them, discuss meanings, use in sentences. 4. उपन्यास लेखन (Novel Writing/Creative Expression) Explain basic story structure: beginning, middle, end. Activity: Guided short story writing, collaborative storytelling, introduction to popular Hindi novels for inspiration. 5. हिंदी पाठ (Hindi Path – Recitation and Comprehension) Select age-appropriate prose or poetry for recitation, comprehension, and discussion. Activity: Group reading, individual recitation, comprehension Q&A. 6. अभ्यास (Abhyas – Practice) Each class will include a practice session where students apply what they learn through games, dialogue, and peer correction. Sample Abhyas Activities Rapid-fire questions about varnamala. Pair-and-share word writing exercises. Sandhiviched worksheet puzzles. Group story writing challenges. Hindi path recitation contest.
