About Laurel
I am currently completing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Calgary, with English as my teachable subject. I have a strong interest in reading, writing, and helping others communicate their ideas with confidence. My education has given me experience exploring different approaches to learning and understanding that every student learns differently. I am patient, approachable, and believe that asking questions should always feel comfortable. As a future teacher, I want students to feel supported rather than judged when they are struggling. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where we can work through challenges together and build skills that will carry over into the classroom.
