About Emily
My name is Emily, I am an 18 year old college student currently studying towards my A levels in English Literature, Psychology, Sociology and EPQ. I really enjoy English Literature as subject and I received a grade 9 for Literature GCSE, and a grade 8 in English Language. All of my A level subjects are essay-based, as are GCSE English papers, so I am confident in teaching these subjects to year 10's and 11's. Furthermore, I have written plenty of personal statements and CV's for college and job applications which have a good track record in gaining interviews and offers, so I am also able to teach CV and personal statement writing if this is something which you will benefit from. When studying for my GCSE's, I also received tutoring for English Language and it helped me greatly, I would love the opportunity to help students excel in their exams in the same way tutoring helped me in mine.

I am looking to tutor year 10 and 11 students in GCSE English language and / or English Literature. I am also able to teach essay writing skills as well as CV and personal statement writing skills. A typical lesson will be 1 hour, and can include teaching methods such as example answers, practice essays, guided essay writing, quote revision and creative writing practice, but this can be tailored to the student's requirements.
