About Hannah
Hi! I’m Hannah, a Law graduate and aspiring solicitor with a genuine passion for Law and helping others understand the subject.
I achieved an A in A-Level Law before going on to graduate from the University of Westminster with a 2:1 in LLB Law. I am currently studying an LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 & SQE2), continuing my journey towards a career in the legal profession.
Throughout my studies, I have gained valuable practical experience alongside my academic work. I have worked with Law Lane Solicitors, gaining experience within a legal practice and exposure to property law, and I have also volunteered as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Westminster Legal Advice Clinic. These experiences have given me an insight into how the law is applied in real-life situations and have strengthened my communication, organisation and research skills.
I have also taken part in volunteering and community-focused activities, which I really enjoy. I like being able to support others and contribute to something meaningful, and this is one of the reasons I enjoy helping students with their studies.
Outside of Law, I’m a very creative person. I enjoy crocheting, cooking, gaming and art, and I love learning new skills and working on creative projects. I also enjoy creating crochet pieces in my spare time, which has become one of my favourite hobbies.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I understand how overwhelming Law can sometimes feel, especially when you are trying to remember cases, legislation and legal principles while also learning how to structure exam answers. Having gone through A-Level Law myself and progressed to university and postgraduate legal study, I understand the challenges students can face and would love to help make the subject feel more manageable and enjoyable.

I believe the best way to learn Law is to understand the reasoning behind it rather than simply memorising information. My lessons are therefore structured around clear explanations, discussion, practical examples and exam-style questions, helping students develop both their legal knowledge and their ability to apply it.
I tailor each lesson to the individual student. We can focus on topics they find difficult, work through areas of the A-Level specification, practise essay and problem questions, revise key cases and legislation, or develop exam technique and confidence. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, as this helps identify gaps in understanding and develop stronger analytical skills.
A typical lesson is one hour, although I can adapt the pace and focus depending on the student's needs.
