About Baheerath Varmaa
I'm 18, based in Canterbury, and on a gap year before starting Computer Science at Durham. Outside of Maths and CS I'm a Grade 8 violinist, a competitive fencer, and I paint miniatures. So, I've spent a lot of time learning hard things slowly, which makes me patient with anyone else doing the same. I'm calm, easy to talk to, and I like the moment when something finally makes sense.

I teach GCSE and A-level Maths and Computer Science to students aged 14–18.
My lessons are relaxed and focused on whatever the student is actually stuck on. I don't follow a set curriculum; you bring the topic, homework, or exam question that isn't clicking, and we work through it until it does. I explain things a few different ways until one lands, and I get the student to try it themselves so it sticks.
Lessons are usually one hour, in Canterbury or online.
I finished my A-levels in 2026 with AAB in Maths, Computer Science and Physics, and I hold an offer to study Computer Science at Durham. I've tutored Year 10 students at my school, so I'm used to explaining things clearly and patiently, and I did these exams recently enough to remember exactly what's hard about them.
