About Bianca
Growing up I developed a strong passion for music. At the age of 5, I started learning the piano and developed a relationship with the music. I was inspired by my piano teacher, who taught me that music is a gift that everyone has but not everyone chooses to act upon. She encouraged me to continue music through middle school and to still continue through high school. Currently I am at level 7 of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She also inspired me to experiment with other musical instruments. Because of this, I joined the choir at my church and sang as a soloist throughout COVID. I continued to sing solos at my school and play the piano during school performances. She gave me the courage and commitment to music that I hope to show any student who I teach.

Music has always been a passion I possessed since a very young age. I am a grade 10 student and have been playing the piano for 10 years. As a teacher, I hope to demonstrate and apply knowledge to help give an understanding of how to not only play the piano, but enjoy the music. I have taught piano to friends and neighbours. The first step in understanding piano is learning the notes and how they relate to each song. When teaching a young child how to play the piano I find it is easier to engage them by learning fun songs and displaying a fun environment, rather than a strict disciplinarian one.
