About Geoff
After starting out working in finance in the city, in my 30s I came to Oxford for furthering my education, starting my family, gaining experience in smaller businesses and for teaching English. I’ve really enjoyed my 40s and 50s mainly teaching Economics and Business in small independent schools and alongside, I’ve always loved private tutoring.

Whether online or face-to-face, I enjoy tailoring my classes to the individual for best results. My approach is personal and collaborative. I enjoy sharing my best tips and techniques and thoroughly reviewing my students’ efforts for maximum progress. I’m particularly helpful for exam technique in all the crucial KAAE skills of Knowledge, Application, Analysis, Evaluations and long-marker structure.

This man is the reason I succeeded in my Economics A Levels! Geoff helped me figure out the basics and the advanced theory alike and fill the gaps in my knowledge; he's very responsive and kind - you don't feel afraid to ask "stupid" questions!
