I've taught hundreds of students at dozens of schools throughout the Bay Area, helping kids and adults alike build not just stronger openings and sharper tactics, but real confidence and discipline that carries beyond just the 64 squares of a chess board.

What a Lesson With Me Looks Like
Every session is one-on-one, built entirely around you. We move at your pace, focusing on whatever matters most for your development: openings, tactics, endgames, full game review, or tournament preparation and day-of support when you need it most.
If you've felt stuck in your chess, or you're ready for a level of challenge group lessons just can't offer, this is where real progress happens. You'll be working directly with a top 1% player, getting the kind of individual attention and honest feedback that moves your game forward.
I've coached players ranging from age 4 to 65. From first-time learners to competitive tournament players, so wherever you're starting from, I will meet you there and build a plan that fits.
