About Julia
I am a high school biology teacher in Bledsoe County, TN. I teach public school now and before this I was a math teacher in a private school. I have experience teaching Biology, 8th grade general science, Physical science, PreAlgebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry.
I have a B. S. In biology and a Masters of education.
I am certified in the state of TN and my licensure is in biology.

I approach teaching more like a guide who shows students how to think well and assess their world logically. So much of science is about the process and our ability to make good observations that we can then interpret and assess, so asking guiding questions that show students the thought processes that lead to a certain discovery or conclusion is a much more valuable skill set than a memorized list of facts.
