About Nicole
I have been a tutor working with a variety of ages from K-5. My main goal as a tutor is to help you gain confidence in reading. I want you to be able to dive into any book without hesitation. My goal as a tutor is to instill all aspects of literacy work, while maintaining fun and joy. I use many phonics games and decodable texts to make our sessions as enjoyable as possible!!

My teaching method includes a balanced literacy approach, meaning we dive into all aspects of reading together! From read alouds and shared reading all the way through to vocabulary work and comprehension of a text, I tutor based on your student's needs.
What sets me apart from other tutors is simple: I love reading and have a passion for passing along that same joy to my students.
My lessons are for primary aged students, grades K-5.
