About Janrey
I am a Licensed Professional Secondary School Teacher from the Philippines with solid experience in both classroom teaching and online ESL instruction. I specialize in teaching English to learners of different ages and levels, helping them build strong foundations in grammar, communication, and confidence in using the language.
Over the years, I have developed a student-centered and communicative teaching approach, focusing on real-life language use and meaningful interaction. I believe that students learn best when they feel supported, engaged, and actively involved in the learning process. My lessons are carefully structured, yet flexible enough to adapt to each learner’s needs and goals.
I take pride in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them. I am patient, organized, and committed to helping every student improve step by step.
Whether you are a beginner who needs guidance in basic English or an intermediate learner aiming to improve fluency and accuracy, I am here to support your learning journey with professionalism and dedication.

I use a student-centered and communicative teaching approach, focusing on real-life language use rather than memorization. My goal is to help learners gain confidence in speaking, improve comprehension, and use English naturally in everyday situations. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s level, learning speed, and goals.
In my lessons, I combine interactive activities, guided practice, and structured input. I often use task-based learning, role-playing, repetition with variation, and visual or contextual materials to make lessons engaging and easy to understand. I also integrate error correction in a supportive way, helping students improve without losing confidence.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up activity, review of previous lessons, introduction of the target language or skill, guided practice, and a short speaking or writing task. I always end with feedback and a quick recap to ensure retention and progress tracking.
What sets me apart is my experience as a licensed professional secondary school teacher from the Philippines with a strong background in both classroom and online ESL teaching. I am patient, adaptable, and skilled in handling different learner types—from shy beginners to more advanced students preparing for communication in academic or workplace settings.
My lessons are designed for primary, secondary, and adult learners (beginner to intermediate levels, A1–B1 CEFR), especially those who want to improve speaking fluency, grammar accuracy, pronunciation, and confidence in real communication. I also support students preparing for basic academic English and everyday conversational skills.
