About Mary Ann

Hello! I’m Mary Ann, a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines with 10 years of teaching experience, including teaching in the United States.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and have completed graduate-level coursework in Educational Management. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with preschool and elementary students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

During my teaching experience in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, I taught English Language Arts and other elementary subjects, focusing on reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills.

I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. As a teacher, I am patient, creative, approachable, and committed to making learning both enjoyable and meaningful.

My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to develop their confidence, independence, and lifelong love for learning.

I look forward to being part of your child’s learning journey!

About the lesson

Learning English should be fun, engaging, and meaningful!

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with 10 years of teaching experience, including teaching in the United States. I specialize in helping preschool and elementary students develop confidence and essential skills in English, reading, phonics, writing, and reading comprehension.

What to expect from my lessons:

* Personalized Learning: Every lesson is tailored to each student’s age, learning level, and individual needs.
* Fun and Interactive Activities: I use educational games, storytelling, visual aids, and engaging exercises to make learning enjoyable.
* Reading and Phonics Development: I help beginning readers recognize letter sounds, blend words, improve fluency, and strengthen comprehension.
* English Communication: Students practice speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence construction.
* Positive Learning Environment: I create a supportive, patient, and encouraging classroom where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and helping every learner progress at their own pace.

Whether your child is just beginning to read or needs extra support in English, I am here to help them learn, grow, and succeed!
