About Lisa
I am a teacher at heart with a passion for language. As a Linguist, my study of other languages enables me to understand pitfalls for non-native English speakers and explain how to overcome them. Having been in the industry for 20 years, I can also help bridge students' gap between business and academic expression.

My instruction stands out for its focus on the nuance of English (etymology, idioms, foreign words, uncommon sentence structure, etc.). My learner-centered approaches launches from students' current level and proceeds by addressing their specific language needs and goals. My lessons are creative, varied and highly personalized.
