About Lewis

Highly passionate about bulding student agency and confidence.

One of the biggest roadblocks I've seen in young learners is a lack of self-belief in a subject, that the mere struggle with math is an indication to give up. The opposite is true! We are all lifelong learners and this struggle is an opportunity to learn.

That said, all students are different. We all can learn in different ways and it's important to keep that in mind. As an educator, I believe it's essential to identify the learning styles that work best for each pupil.

About the lesson

Adaptable lessons for individual students or small groups.
Stong advocate of student voice in learning and a variety of activities to encourage engagement.
Default lesson length is one hour, though flexible to suit individual needs.

Many years experience tutoring across primary and secondary levels. Currently studying an Education degree.
