About Freya
I have been training in Musical Theatre since the age of 11 and have trained with multiple different companies up until now including Basics Junior Theatre School, Both Feet Meisner Training, Centrepointe Dance School, Pendleton School of Theatre and have just graduated the London School of Musical Theatre! I have professional credits in both Musicals and TV and have lots of experience in Drama School Auditions at various different institutions (both Acting and Musical Theatre Courses), auditions for West End, UK Tours and Regional Theatre, Singing Exams for various Exam Boards and Dance exams in Tap, Ballet and Modern! My Passion is to help young aspiring actors achieve their dreams of getting into Drama School, acing that audition whether it be for a school play, amateur theatre production, professional production or even getting that distinction they deserve on their next exam!

My favourite method of teaching is over Zoom or other likewise platforms. I find this works best for the work I do for multiple reasons:
- Musical Theatre is a very practical subject and therefore being able to work in real time on a video call with a student whether that be singing, dancing acting or otherwise allows me to make the most out the time allotted for a student. It means we can work in more of a workshop way which allows the young actor to not only be taught, but realise things for them self which allows them not only to progress in lessons, but also in their own time.
- Zoom allows me to talk directly to the student face to face and create more of a personal interaction, which i believe for a subject such as musical theatre is very important as it requires a lot of courage for the young actor to stand up and do their thing!
- From my training, I've found that the most important thing in achieving what you want from musical theatre and acting is to just get up and do it! Zoom allows the young actor to do this from the comfort of their own home therefore allowing them to combat their nerves and fears in a safe space!
So what kind of tutoring do I offer?
Since Musical Theatre is such a specific to the student subject, the work I do can really vary student to student and so i can work off a request basis!
-Does the student have a singing exam coming up? No Problem , we can work on their songs and exercises for that!
-Does the student have a part they would really like in their upcoming school play or musical? Well, we can work on the material they are auditioning with for that!
-Does the student study GCSE or A-Level Acting or Expressive Arts and needs help with a monologue or performance piece they are preparing for their exam? I'll get them as confident as possible so they can get the mark they deserve for that module!
- Does the student need advice for what to prepare for a drama school audition or simply need help with how to improve their audition material? We will get their material to the absolute best standard to give them the best chance of getting into that dream school!
-Or, does your child simply love musical theatre and would love weekly 1-2-1 lessons that incorporate singing, dancing and acting in a fun and friendly way!
