About Brad
I am from Southern California, I grew up playing sports, surfing, and hiking the mountains around my home. My truest passions lie in helping others get out of their own way. This is a never ending quest and something I work on every day through mind-fullness practices--some of which I've been doing for years and others to which I am a new student. For the last 8 years I've helped children years 8 to 15 learn to harness their own pure life energy through qi-gong, meditation, breathwork, yoga, and learning to surf. I've also taught those older than I (>26) foundational qi-gong exercises as well as restorative and strengthening movements.

I base my classes on an open and fun dialogue between our minds and bodies. It's easy enough to describe the relative oneness between them, but it is far more rare and far more beautiful to actually experience this oneness. Qi gong helps us do exactly this. I hold a space for my students to connect with their breath through beginner to advanced breathing practices. I encourage my students to listen to their bodies--to really feel--as we tap into the circulatory and nervous system with some meridian work and qi gong. Most importantly, I know that we are all different; our asymmetries are beautiful. So each lesson is tailored to the both your immediate needs and those lying deeper in your body that you may not be aware of but are begging to be tapped into!

For classes held at students' private residence, I ask for an $8 travel fee; but I am happy to meet and work in a park or outdoors for no travel fee.
