About Jennifer
With an extensive background in special education, there are several strengths I bring as a tutor for children with special needs: 1. Deep Understanding of Diverse Disabilities: My experience with students that have cognitive impairments, autism, and other disabilities means I can adapt my approach based on each child’s unique needs. I can identify strategies that work best for different learners, which makes me a versatile and highly effective tutor. 2. Individualized Instruction: I help guide students to break down tasks to ensure students are engaged and challenged at their level, promoting greater independence and confidence. 3. These methods can help make abstract concepts more accessible for students with diverse needs. 7.
