About Dana
I hold a Master's in English and have experience working as a college and university professor. In addition to my schooling and professor work, I have experience publishing and working as an editor. In short, I love writing! However, the one thing I love more than writing is helping others gain confidence in their writing.
Unfortunately, writing can be intimidating. Seeing a student feel more at ease and confident while writing tells me I have done my job well. We all have a voice. I want to help you feel confident using your voice in writing assignments and other writing environments, such as work.

I help others translate their ideas into clear, impactful writing.
Writing is a practice, and I am here to support you on your writing journey.
My method is learner-centred. I will work with you to support you in your writing, and I will teach you tools that will continue to help you with your writing in the future.
With a sample of your current writing, I will guide you as you learn to read critically and evaluate your writing (and others') for accuracy, cohesion, logic, structure, and grammatical correctness. You will then apply editing methods to reshape your draft.
My method focuses on providing students with tools to help them with their writing now and as they continue writing in the future.
I designed my lessons to support students in college, university, or upper-level English courses in secondary school.
