About Benedikt

I'm a 23 year old masters student at the London School of Economics, Being born with both Dyslexia and ADD, I have a good grasp on just how difficult studying can be, because of this I believe that every child is different and requires a unique teaching style to unlock their full potential. This goes beyond the specific subject matter taught and rather translates into a general system for learning anything. My goal is as much to teach my mentees the given subject matter as it is for me to assist them in developing general systems for studying by at large. Therefore, it is my belief that providing students with the tools to succeed rather than simply making sure that they can recite information for one test, is key for both present and future academic success. I specialise in Sociology and Philosophy, having graduated First Class with Honours from King's College London (QS world rankings: #10 in Philosophy) with a B.A. in Philosophy, and currently I am halfway through a Sociology research masters (MSc) at the LSE (QS world rankings: #3 in Sociology). My Tutoring Strengths are as Follows: General Skills: Essay Writing Skills General Systems for Learning, Understanding, and Memorising Learning Support for those who are Neurodiverse Masters Level; Social Theory (Practice Theory, ANT, Ethnomethodology) Qualitative Research Methods Undergraduate level; Philosophy Logic Sociology Anthropology A Levels/IB; Philosophy Sociology Anthropology Physics History Maths English Economics GCSEs (and below): Philosophy Sociology Sciences Maths History English Business Studies University : - King's College London - B.A. Philosophy [First Class with Honours] - London School of Economics & Political Science - MSc Sociology School : Bryanston School IB - Philosophy [7] - Physics [6] - Film Making [5] - English [6] - Maths [6] Bryanston School GCSEs - History [A*] - Physics [A*] - Business Studies [A*] - Maths [A*] - English [A*] - English Literature [A*] - Chemistry [A]
