Hi, my name is William Wu! I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell Technologies. I have three years of experience tutoring college-level chemistry, along with occasional experience tutoring other subjects. I’m confident helping students with chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering courses. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and helping students build confidence in their problem-solving abilities.

A fun fact about me is that I speak fluent Spanish!

About the lesson

I specialize in one-on-one tutoring, where I encourage students to take an active role in their learning. Rather than simply giving them answers, I guide them through problems, encourage them to ask questions, and help them learn from their mistakes. I believe students develop a stronger understanding of a subject when they work through challenges themselves with the right guidance and support. My goal is to adapt each lesson to the student's individual needs, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and build the confidence they need to succeed independently in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering courses. I am comfortable tutoring students at both the high school and college levels, adapting my teaching approach to each student’s academic needs and level of understanding.
