About Sharine
Hi, I’m Sharine.
I’m an Engineering graduate with a strong background in Mathematics and Physics, currently pursuing further studies in Electrical Engineering. I’ve always loved how these subjects explain the world around us and I enjoy helping others understand them clearly and confidently.
I want to teach because I believe many students struggle not due to lack of ability, but because they haven’t been guided in a way that suits them. My goal is to make learning simple, structured, and encouraging, so you feel confident asking questions and solving problems independently.
I look forward to helping you build strong foundations and achieve your academic goals.

My name is Sharine, and my approach to tutoring is centred on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and genuine understanding, rather than rote memorisation.
I teach by breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps and relating them to real-life examples, especially in Maths and Physics. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding early, then tailor each lesson to the student’s learning pace and school syllabus. I encourage questions, active problem-solving, and step-by-step reasoning so students feel confident explaining why an answer works, not just how to get it.
My lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though longer sessions can be arranged for senior students or exam preparation. Each lesson usually includes:
A short review of previous concepts
Clear explanation of new topics
Guided practice with worked examples
Independent problem-solving with feedback
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a strong academic record, have completed a research internship at ISRO, and have published work in an IEEE conference. I am also commencing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, which allows me to teach with strong subject depth and exam-focused clarity.
My lessons are suitable for Year 7–10 students, HSC students, and early university students who need support in Mathematics and Physics. I work with students of all confidence levels from those needing foundational support to those aiming to excel academically.
I offer both online and in-person lessons, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel motivated, understood, and capable of achieving their goals.
