About Elora

I am a dedicated French tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master of Arts in French Studies. My passion lies in helping students not only learn the language but also use it with confidence in academic and real-life settings. Over the years, I have guided learners at different levels, from beginners to advanced, with a strong focus on structured and goal-oriented learning. I specialize in preparing students for international French exams such as DELF, DALF, and TEF. My lessons are carefully designed to cover all key areas: writing, comprehension, listening, and oral expression. Each session focuses on clarity, practice, and steady progress. Exam preparation is about more than just language skills—it’s about strategy. I emphasize exam techniques, time management, and smart approaches to different question types. This helps students perform at their best and feel less stressed during assessments. I also work on building academic confidence, so students feel motivated and empowered throughout their learning journey. Step by step, they gain the ability to express themselves accurately and fluently. My teaching style balances discipline with encouragement, ensuring lessons remain structured yet supportive. I believe that with commitment, practice, and the right guidance, every student can achieve French fluency. Together, we can transform challenges into strengths and open new opportunities through the power of language.

About the lesson

My teaching approach to French is designed to be practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building. I believe language learning is most effective when it feels connected to real life. That’s why I use role-playing activities where students practice conversations for travel, study, or everyday situations. This makes the learning experience fun and helps students apply French outside the classroom. I also focus on self-expression. Students are encouraged to share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas in French, even with simple words at first. Over time, this builds fluency and comfort in speaking. Practical grammar shortcuts are another part of my lessons, so students learn how to communicate clearly without being stuck on rules. For learners who want French for academic growth, I provide structured guidance with grammar, writing, and critical reading. This helps them excel in exams, essays, and research work. For those who want French for travel and exploration, I emphasize useful vocabulary, cultural tips, and listening practice that prepare them for real conversations. I adapt lessons to each student’s goals, whether it’s mastering a complex text or ordering confidently in a café. I also use games, storytelling, and interactive exercises to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. My aim is to make learning French not just about memorizing, but about experiencing the language. Ultimately, I want every student to see French as a tool for connection, discovery, and self-growth. With practice, encouragement, and the right methods, they can learn with both confidence and enjoyment.
