Perfect! Darcy has been my kids' Mandarin tutor for months now. She's engaged and academic, focused on improvement and growth. My kids are dedicated so she sets homework, which they enjoy and do with excitement. We value the cultural knowledge around the language, and that she doesn't just teach things to remember but expolains deep context around them. The 'why' is so important to a rich learning experience. Thank you so much!

Perfect! My daughter has been learning Chinese with Darcy for a while now, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is incredibly punctual and organised, which makes every lesson feel smooth and well-structured. One thing I really appreciate is how learning progress is carefully tracked — we receive a detailed progress report after every 10 lessons.

Darcy always come prepared with learning materials that are not only effective but also genuinely fun and engaging. Lessons never feel repetitive or dull — there’s always something new to keep things interesting.

On top of that, Darcy is kind, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. My daughter has already shown a real improvement in her Chinese language!

Perfect! I have been extremely blessed to have found Darcy as my Mandarin tutor. She is a truly gifted teacher. It's not just her vibrancy, her dedication, or her knowledge and skills, or her enthusiasm with getting the best out of her students that makes her so unique; she also has that rare gift of being able to teach in such a way that makes learning so much easier to grapple with, and so much more enjoyable.

I am extremely impressed by the many tools she has at her disposal to stimulate learning and to engage me in such a way that I'm constantly practising in between lessons. In addition to providing a structured approach to learning, and the added value of the history and cultural aspects of the language she brings to the lessons, she is also able to identify the best way to engage a student. With me, it was through singing. It does help that she is multi-talented and can sing beautifully too. Even more importantly, she is able to demonstrate to me (you need to take lessons from her to see what I mean), how to pronounce those difficult phonemes. So, if you had ever struggled to learn to speak mandarin or are still struggling, or simply if you fancy learning a new language, you need to give Darcy a try. You won't regret it.

Perfect! Darcy is fantastic and a real professional!

Perfect! Darcy is an excellent teacher - tailoring lessons to what I need and keeping things fun and interesting. She is clearly passionate about and a scholar of both the Chinese language and language generally, which comes across in her teaching. Highly recommend.
