About Serena Celeste
I have worked in tuition since 2014, both as a private tutor and as a tutor stationed at specific schools. I have run classrooms, taught group lessons, and have curated my own tutorial programmes for thousands of students. Essentially, I have lots of experience with working in different settings and helping students to excel in all of them.
A little bit about my education: I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and linguistics from McGill University, and a master's degree in human rights from University College London. I pursued these subjects because I love interacting with and understanding people. It is for these same reasons that I love tutoring so much.
My goal in tutoring is always to effect positive change in my students' lives. So, no matter what your grades are (because those don't matter a whole lot), I am confident that with the right help you can overcome any academic obstacle.

I tailor my tutoring process to complement the individual learning styles of my students. A tutoring session with me will cover what your long-term goals are, what you are most passionate about, and what skills you have that can get you to where you want academically. Because of my background in psychology, I place great importance on how you feel during the sessions, and will take steps to help you feel confident and self-reliant.
I have nearly a decade of experience tutoring different subjects to different age groups. Right now, I tutor students from middle school to undergraduate levels.
My tutoring technique with a secondary school student will differ from my technique with a university student; so you can rest assured that you will feel comfortable with how we approach the sessions, no matter what age you are.
