About Eric
I am an inspiring violin tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. My passion for education and music encourages me to create lessons that help students develop their skills, confidence, and creativity.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach around 300-350 students and guide them through different stages of violin learning. I believe that a supportive learning environment helps students improve faster and enjoy the process.
My teaching approach combines technical knowledge with creativity. I teach students violin fundamentals, bow techniques, finger placement, rhythm control, musical expression, and performance skills. I also focus on helping students develop discipline and independent learning habits.
A memorable milestone in my career has been watching students achieve progress and gain confidence in their abilities. Seeing their excitement when they successfully perform a piece of music is a wonderful experience.
I believe every learner deserves encouragement and guidance. My goal is to inspire students to explore their musical talents and build strong violin skills that will support their future growth.

I believe violin lessons should be engaging, supportive, and designed around each student's individual learning style. My teaching approach combines **Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity** to create lessons that encourage both technical growth and musical confidence.
Every lesson focuses on developing essential violin skills including posture, bowing, finger coordination, scales, rhythm, tone production, sight reading, and musical interpretation. I explain each concept clearly and use practical examples to help students understand and apply what they learn.
No two students learn in the same way. Some prefer demonstrations, while others improve through listening, repetition, or practical exercises. I adapt every lesson to suit these different learning styles, ensuring that each student progresses comfortably and effectively.
I encourage collaboration by creating an open and respectful learning environment. Students are welcome to ask questions, discuss difficulties, and contribute their own ideas. Working together helps create meaningful lessons and steady progress.
Positivity is central to my teaching philosophy. I encourage consistent effort, celebrate every success, and provide supportive guidance during difficult topics. In addition to violin, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, notation reading, and beginner performance skills. My aim is to develop skilled musicians who enjoy learning and performing music with confidence.
