About G Marie

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, a Master of Arts in History, and a Dual Law Degree from Pepperdine School of Law, providing me with a rich and multidisciplinary foundation in the humanities and law.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of blending these disciplines into an innovative and dynamic approach to education—creating engaging curriculum materials, designing short and long-term courses, and offering professional talks that link ancient knowledge to modern-day applications.

With over a decade of experience in designing classical education programs for both U.S. and international schools, I’ve helped shape curricula for a wide range of institutions, from elementary schools to universities.

In addition to my work with educational institutions, I collaborate with businesses, professional organizations, and governmental entities to develop specialized training programs that connect the ancient world with contemporary practice—particularly in law and medicine.

My work resonates with those who understand the enduring influence of Roman legal systems, Latin language, and classical thought on our current social and professional structures.

As a lifelong advocate for classical education, I am proud to be affiliated with several leading organizations, including:
Society for Classical Studies, Vergilian Society, American Classical League, Texas State Junior Classical League, Eta Sigma Phi, et al.

My scholarly focus includes:

- Research and publication in Ancient Roman Law, exploring its profound impact on Western Jurisprudence
- Applied Latin Studies, investigating innovative teaching methods
- Latin’s role in modern professions

In this regard, I create presentations for conferences, highlighting how Roman law and Latin have shaped modern medical and legal practices.

In addition to my academic endeavors, I have led student tours through Ancient Roman Europe—guiding students through remarkable archaeological sites in Italy, Greece, Turkey, North Africa, and across much of Western and Southern Europe.

From the grand Pantheon to the sprawling Roman baths, from the battlefields of Cannae to the architectural marvels of Pompeii and Rome, I provide students with immersive experiences that bring ancient history to life.

As a consultant, my approach is centered on building comprehensive, personalized educational strategies that serve diverse audiences: from individual learners and private schools, to corporate clients, medical schools, and law schools.

Whether designing semester-long curricula, offering conference talks, or delivering tailored training programs, my work is grounded in rigorous scholarship and real-world applicability—ensuring an enriching experience for every client.

The ancient world is alive and relevant today, and my goal is to help your organization—whether in education, business, or professional development—tap into its timeless wisdom.

Master Latin with Purpose – From Caesar to the Supreme Courts & Western Jurisprudence & Medical Professions

Step into Latin like never before. My tutorials go far beyond rote memorization—they bring the language alive. With a law degree and a Master’s in History, I guide students through the vibrant Latin of Cicero and Tacitus and connect it directly to modern fields like law, medicine, political science, and chemistry. This isn’t just Latin—this is Latin with real-world power.

Who’s It For?
Pre-teens, AP/NLE/IB students, undergraduates, graduate students, and lifelong learners seeking deep fluency, academic success, and practical application.

What Sets Me Apart
My students not only ace standardized exams—they develop elite analytical skills, rich historical insight, and a specialized vocabulary that bridges ancient texts with today’s disciplines. Whether you're pursuing pre-law, med school, or the humanities, Latin becomes a tool, not just a subject.

How I Teach
I craft a custom course based on your goals. Each student receives their own digital classroom hub, complete with tailored exercises, curated readings, and engaging applications through modern media—films, music, memes, medical terms, even legal documents.

Typical Lesson
We start with your aims—exam prep, professional language, literary mastery—and build out from there. Lessons include guided reading of classical texts, applied vocabulary, grammar in context, and weekly challenges linking Latin to ads, laws, diagnoses, and debates.

Whether you're 11 or 81, Latin can change how you think. Let’s make it global, grounded, and unforgettable.

Join students from around the world who are learning Latin not just to read it—but to use it.
