My Teaching Method and Techniques:
I believe in a personalized approach to tutoring, where every lesson is adapted to fit the individual student’s needs and learning style. I focus on:

• Step-by-Step Explanations: Breaking down complex problems into smaller, manageable steps to make understanding easier.
• Interactive Learning: Encouraging students to think through problems and ask questions, keeping them actively engaged in the learning process.
• Relating Math to Real Life: Demonstrating how math applies to everyday situations to help students see its value and keep them motivated.
• Positive Reinforcement: Building confidence through consistent encouragement and celebrating progress, no matter how small.

A Typical Lesson Plan:

1. Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): We begin with a quick review of previous material to reinforce knowledge and identify any areas that need more attention.
2. Main Lesson (20-30 minutes): Focus on the day’s topic, which could range from basic arithmetic to pre-algebra concepts. I walk students through examples, then guide them through practice problems.
3. Interactive Practice (10-15 minutes): The student works on problems independently, with me offering support when needed. This encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
4. Wrap-Up and Review (5 minutes): We end with a brief review of the key points learned, addressing any questions, and setting goals for the next session.

What Sets Me Apart:

• Patient and Adaptable: I understand that every student
