About Freya
My Physics lessons combine core scientific understanding with the power of computation to make learning truly engaging. I use a nurturing and personalized approach that encourages you to explore physics through computer modeling, data visualization, and numerical methods. Together, we’ll also cover the basics of scientific programming, allowing you to simulate real-world phenomena and experiment with digital models. Each lesson is designed to make complex ideas come alive through hands-on simulations and coding exercises. This approach not only builds understanding but also enhances creativity and problem-solving skills. Whether you love experimenting or enjoy building things yourself, I help you channel that curiosity into mastering computational physics. You’ll learn how to use technology as a tool to explore theories, test predictions, and interpret data like a scientist. My lessons emphasize clarity, exploration, and discovery, making computation an exciting part of your physics journey. Through this method, you’ll see how coding can simplify even the toughest problems in physics. Step by step, I’ll guide you toward mastering simulation-based learning and computational reasoning. Let’s celebrate your growing technological skills and open new doors to understanding the world through physics.

I am a Physics tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Quantum Physics. My passion for physics extends beyond the microscopic world into the vast, dynamic system of our planet’s atmosphere. I am deeply fascinated by the physics of climate modeling and atmospheric dynamics, where mathematics and natural phenomena intertwine to explain how our climate behaves.
I love exploring the intricate processes of radiative transfer, atmospheric convection, ocean currents, and the powerful feedback loops that shape Earth’s climate system. These mechanisms are complex yet beautiful, and I strive to make them understandable and engaging for my students. My goal is to help learners see how physics provides the foundation for climate science and how energy, matter, and motion connect to influence our planet.
In my lessons, I combine clear explanations with visual models and real-world examples, showing how theoretical principles apply to global climate systems. I encourage curiosity and critical thinking, guiding students to explore how small physical interactions lead to large-scale environmental changes.
Together, we uncover the physics behind global climate change and its challenges. I invite you to join me in using physics not just to understand the world, but to predict and protect the Earth’s climate future.
