About Emily
I've taught online and in classrooms in the US, the Czech Republic, and South Korea! Working with me is a relaxed place to become more confident and bold when speaking English. I never want my students to be bored, so I am happy to discuss the things that are most interesting and important to you. I can give you the tips and advice you need to sound more fluent when meeting and connecting with English speakers! When it comes to academic writing, I want my students to feel less stressed and intimidated, and help guide them to write with more strength and clarity but still in their own voice.

I have several years of tutoring experience, and almost 3 years of formal classroom experience. I am also TEFL certified. In our lessons, I want it to feel like you're talking to a friend. Intermediate English speakers are of course welcome, but I can also offer lessons for more formal English for advanced students, in areas like business and creative writing. For multiple years, I've tutored students in academic writing and assisted with writing university admissions essays or term papers. I also have experience with English grammar for elementary and middle school students. I typically do 50 minute lessons!
