About Himanshu
I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science and have over 4 years of professional experience as a software developer. During my career, I have worked with a variety of programming languages, including C, Java, Python, and JavaScript, and have gained hands-on experience in real-world software development projects. This experience allows me to teach not just the theory, but also the practical skills needed to succeed in the tech industry. As a passionate programmer and educator, I strive to make coding both accessible and exciting for my students. I believe in learning through doing, and I make sure to provide personalized, step-by-step guidance so you can truly understand the concepts, not just memorize them. My goal is to help you build the skills and confidence needed to excel in programming, whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your expertise.

As a tutor, I focus on making programming approachable and understandable, no matter your background. My teaching style is practical, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. I start with the fundamentals of programming logic and problem-solving, then gradually introduce language-specific syntax and real-world applications. Whether you’re learning C, Java, Python, or JavaScript, I emphasize writing clean code, understanding how things work under the hood, and building a solid foundation before jumping into complex topics.
Each lesson typically begins with a quick recap or concept review, followed by a focused explanation of a new topic. Then we dive into hands-on coding exercises, debug real examples, and apply what you've learned to small projects or challenges. I also include coding best practices and helpful tips from my 4+ years of professional experience as a software developer, which gives students a real-world edge.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect core programming principles across languages and explain things in simple, relatable terms. I teach students from all backgrounds — including high school and college students, adult learners, and career switchers preparing for tech roles or coding interviews. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining your coding skills, I’ll meet you at your level and guide you toward becoming a confident programmer.
